“ Food Street's zinger burger is unbeatable! Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor--it's everything a zinger burger should be. A must-try if you're in the area! ”
“ Memorably delicious- unique The paan: betas leaf w/ coconut fennel and areca nut with chai after homemade parantha chicken wrap: Absolutely amazing sauces and great service! Thank you ”
“ Wow what a hidden gem in the Secaucus area! We came on a Monday night and the restaurant was empty. First of all, the gappa chaat was absolutely delicious. I was skeptical about how good it would be because of its size, but all the flavors came together magically and the filling contrasted with the yogurt and chutney was incredible. My friend and I both got chicken garlic mayo roll and the chicken tikka roll. Both were incredibly flavorful, juicy, and mouth watering good. My boyfriend got the spicy chicken sandwich and really liked the chicken and heat. I also ordered the mango sugarcane juice which HIT! We also loved the decoration in the restaurant. What a great spot! ”
“ Honesty have not tried pakistani food before dining here but the recommendations of my friends really didn't disappoint. The place itself has a good modern vibe and the food items we ordered were really good. I am a spicy lover so I really really loved the spicy chicken sandwich! Also, kudos for being clean all in all! From the tables to seats and even the restroom, the cleanliness in on point. Totally recommended if you are around the area! ”
“ Very authentic lahori style Pakistani food street ... over all menu and prices are very good n competitive. Really enjoyed Tikka role, Garlic Role, Egg burger. ”
“ Very flavorful and delicious food. It is better if you stay to eat it, not only because employees have given us nonverbal feedback about not staying to eat, but also because the quality is better soon after it is served. The price for each menu item is a concern if you're on a budget, but you're guaranteed to enjoy eating there and the cultural murals. It is a nice experience sitting inside. It can be crowded on some nights (towards the end of the week). I prefer to visit when it is quieter. They should consider opaque blinds for partial shade during the peak times for the sun. ”
“ First time ever having Pakistani street food and cannot believe I have gone this long without it. My taste buds were super happy. Service was excellent and super easy. Walk to the counter, checkout menu, order and they will give you a number to place on your table. Appetizer/drinka will come first followed by your main meal. The owner stopped at our table to ask about our experience and recommended two excellent drinks. Delicious. Very cool chill crowd, mix of groups of friends and families. We will definitely be back. ”
“ Order at the counter and sit down in a clean, comfortable and well decorated dining room for a casual, quick and delicious meal! All of the service is friendly and happy to help with recommendations based on your preferences. Because I don't mind a little spice, the employee recommended a Chicken Tikka Paratha roll but I didn't think it was spicy at all! Just delicious with the sauces it comes with. The gappa chaat is HUGE I wasn't able to finish it but it was a great starter. Will definitely return to this business! ”
“ Whether you hail from Islamabad and call it a burger or from Pindi and call it a bun kebab (a contentious lexicon debate I won't get into here), the sandwiches that much of Pakistan's street food life center around can be surprisingly vegetarian-friendly. Aloo tikki burgers may be better known abroad, but the star of the show at Food Street is the oddly-named "bun pluster," a decadently-buttered concoction filled with a fried egg and daal mash. One of the best sandwiches I've eaten in 2024. The chaat here is also on par with some of my other favorites in the region such as Mithaas and Kailash Parbat. Overall, worth the trip to Secaucus (never thought I would say that). ”
“ Imagine if a passionate Michelin Star chef, using quality fresh ingredients, sets out to recreate the legendary street food of Lahore (a culinary center of South Asia). For a moment let that sink in. Food Street (141 Front St, Secaucus, NJ 07094) will surpass that expectation. I went with a group to Food Street. We ordered a lot of things. We ordered, HANGRY Beef Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll, Malai Boti Paratha Roll, Gappa Chaat, Jalebi and more. We shared everything family style. Everyone agreed that this was an outer body experience moment. Everything was extraordinary, but having said that, I need to add that the Gappa Chaat needs the attention of James Beard Foundation. Nothing even in South Asia, leave alone the NY/NJ/CT Tri State area comes close to this one creation. Credit for Gappa Chaat goes to an ex-software engineer, Aziz Khan (Head Chef at Food Street), who took an everyday mundane street food item and turned it into an extraordinary masterpiece. ”
